Andrea van Voorst van Beest is a painter and printmaker from Pownal, Maine. She paints both in the studio and in the natural environment working with oil, acryllic or gouache. In printmaking she uses etching, drypoint, and monoprint techiques and experiments in alternative methods to achieve particular effects and tonal qualities.
She exhibits with the Addison Woolley Gallery and is a member of the Peregrine Press, a printmaking cooperative.
Her work is in many collections including: The New York Public Library, Bowdoin College, The Farnsworth Museum, The Portland Museum of Art, the UNE Art Gallery among others.
